What would happen if you ran a Climate T rated 3-way chest fridge in cold conditions?

A 3-way absorption fridge with a rating of T (tropical) that runs on LPG has a temperature range of 18 degrees C as the minimum & up to 43C as the max.

There are other ratings like ST (sub tropical) that only cool as high as 38C but can be ran in lower temps than the T model.

So I’m wondering what would happen if a T rated unit was ran on LPG in winter where the temps would get down to 15 degrees C at day & maybe 8C at night?

Would the unit damage or just freeze your contents even on lowest thermostat setting?

Anyone know? Thanks
