What would happen to a person if you removed their skeleton?

Red blood cells are being released, as they mature in the marrow, continuously. A red blood cell lifespan is around 120 days, IIRC. So a non regenerative anemia would evolve.

This topic would be a great Criminal Minds episode.

The biggest danger would be that there is nothing to protect the brain from a direct blow. The brain is already vulnerable to concussion by being jarred against the skull. Without the skull, damage caused by a blow is much greater.

Could a human being survive without a skeleton?

Great minds, etc.

Indeed, make no bones about it.

Actually, maybe it’s great criminal minds think alike.
