What would it take to get The Straight Dope books available on Kindle?

Mods, I picked the café for this thread as I wasn’t sure where to put it.

Pretty much as the thread title suggests, how could The Straight Dope books become available on Kindle? Are the publishing rights tied up with all the changes over the years with the Chicago Reader?

Oh, and for anyone who them, are they very out of date?

I know I can buy used copies, but I’m really trying to cut back on physical books, especially something like TSD books which would work perfect on Kindle.

There is no current plan to make the Straight Dope books available on Kindle or other digital format. However, it’s not out of the question that we may do so. We’ll let you know if this occurs.
