America has a secret weapon in the Can-Dan Conflict: Lis Wiehl. She’s a lawyer, she’s half-Danish and speaks Danish, she’s written a book on conflict resolution, and she’s a total babe. Put her in charge of the peace talks, preferably at some really nice seafood restaurant, and everybody’s happy.
I’m with you. Canada is the United States’ largest trading partner, and the two countries are generally good friends. Unless the Canucks were rounding up the Danes and sending them to gas chambers (or something equally horrific) I’m sure that the US would believe Canada’s version of events.
