What would you be?

If you were 18 in 1968 America, would you be:

a) Collage student
b) Hippie
c) Serving in Armed Forces
d) Other

Things to consider
You would have the same set of morals that you have right now
You would have no knowledge of future events
You would have perfect health so yes you could serve in the Army

As a young woman, I would likely be a college student.

I’m torn between College Student and (Damned Dirty) Hippie.

I’d be, like, wow, man. What was the question?

Oh yeah, man. A hippie.

I’d be one of those peace-lovin’ hippies, no doubt about it.

I was a college student. But not of collages.

Been there. Done that.

SDS?

Political radical/proto-punk. I might have been in college, but would have dropped out after being hassled by the man. No way I’m gonna be a god damn hippie though!

Definitely a hippie. I still regret that I was born ten years too late.

Is that you, Eric Cartman?

I think there’s too much conformity in the whole hippie thing for me, and I look dumb with more hair. So I figure I’d despise the Vietnam War without looking the part.

Other.

I’d just be… me. Not a college student, never a hippie, not serving in the Armed Forces…

I’d be holed up in a basement somewhere, writing. And painting. Viciously.

I would be a college student with hippe tendencies

I’d be in the armed forces.

Hell will freeze over before I’d ever become a damn dirty hippy.

If I were the same in 1968 as I was when I was 18, then I would be (a) a student and one year away from (e) a missionary.

It’s hard to say now. Student or hippie? Studying hard or smoking dope and shagging women? Yup, go with the hippie thing for a couple of years. Got to go with the free love thing.

Not the military, that’s for sure.

College. Failing that, collage.

Failing that, Canada.
