I’ve turned off headlights in someone else’s parked car.
I have, in my car, a tool designed to be used to unlock doors. I don’t know how to use it, it is a thin strip of metal with a hook, which apparently can go into the window frame and activate the lock.
It’s pretty much useless to me as I lock my car, but I keep it in case I run into a similar situation. Someone around might know the method .
I found it in a parking lot, and recognized it from seeing its use in movies.
And my phone lockscreen has my ex-wifes number.
I once found a phone while hiking. It was reasonably remote, so no cell coverage so I took it with me and continued my hike. Once I got into cell coverage I got a call from the owner’s sister. She was a bit suprised to hear a male voice answering, but together we worked out a way to return the phone to its owner.
So my theory is, pick it up, keep it charged, and wait for a call.
