What would you do with $252 million?

Yeah, I’d be like Dougy and not want to flaunt it.

  1. Some clothes that look good on me
  2. tuition for college
  3. a gazebo in the back yard
  4. a hot tub/jacuzzi in one part of the gazebo
  5. litte summer house out in the woods or something
  6. a really elaborate tree house…I’ve never owned one
  7. an old Volkswagen Beetle
  8. a motorcycle, welf-size so it wouldn’t fall on me and crush my cute little body
  9. an art studio
  10. a tower, like a castle would have, with a room on top with window seats and other neat things. I’d call it the February Room, like in my dream.
  11. hire someone to clean my room
  12. a storage building to put all my junk
  13. Hello Opal!
  14. I’d travel all over the world on mission trips or for Peace Corps.
  15. Toys, new clothes, and better educations for the children at the orphanage in Mexico I stayed at.

Wait a minute. Isn’t this a sports salary? I saw today’s paper it mentioned a players salary of about $252M.

First of all, he would have to give his agent 10% & his lawyer 5% & pay 40% income tax US. Then it takes a few years before he has all that money anyway, it’s not a one year salary.

Whew. So, that makes it quite a bit less.

You’re right, handy

And last week, I went up to a professor in tears because I had heard that the sun was going to burn out and destroy life on Earth in 2-4 million years. He told me it was 2-4 billion years away. Boy was I relieved.

I’d buy a 3 bedroom house in Palo Alto. If I haggled over the price, I might even have enough left over to buy a candy bar. Hershey’s Special Dark. Mmmmmmm.

I just want to be happy and make other people happy. Oh, and I’d probably also donate some money to keep this message board running and for it to get a better server that’s faster in the future.
