There’s gold in them thar hills!
My thoughts exactly. Set up a little camp in Sutter Creek and pan up some gold, then come back overnight to shower & sleep someplace free of wildcats.
I’m confident I could squeeze enough fuel, generators, tools, guns/ammo and building material and emergency food/supplies to last me an awfully long time.
Set up shop on the East Shore of Tahoe, build a cabin, wire up electricity (bring some solar panels/batteries), burn wood for heat/cooking, hunt, fish, brew beer and never think of this place ever again.
I’d finally be forced to take up Cross-Country skiing.
I’d probably bring my dog. She seems to like me.
