I finished Christopher Moore’s latest, Bite Me, the third (and, I suspect, the last) in his vampire trilogy that started with Blood-Sucking Fiends.
Now I’m reading a politicalk/economic book by a guy in a newly-formed writers bunch I just joined. It’s an interesting read, much of which I disagree with. But I’m supposed to be criticizing his writing (and his logic), not his conclusions, so it’ll be an interesting discussion.
After that, I don’t know. I’ve got a stack of “to read” books, ranging from some old (but not yet read by me) Conans to some Victorian SF to a humor book written by a friend.
I’m starting The Stand, which probably isn’t the wisest choice, since the last book I read, despite loving it, took me 3 months and was only around 400 pages. I’m tempted to read Under the Dome instead, since it’s shorter.
