It is widely believed that Saddam used body doubles to thwart assassination; according to some estimates, he may have had as many as seven. Have any of these doubles been apprehended? I suppose they could have been murdered by Saddam, but I would think they would be of more value to him alive. Is it likely that all seven could escape capture this long?

Or maybe Saddam is alive and has them all in the same room with him, so if the Americans find him, suddenly 8 saddams all come running out of the room in all directions. He would need 8 jeeps, motorcycles, etc available also.

Maybe when the Americans show up, they’ll perform a giant version of the classic Mirror Routine and Saddam will escape as they try and figure out who to arrest. 
I bet they could write a very interesting tell-all book. “Just the Eight of Us,” or “Eight Men Out” or something.
You know what else would be fun? If Saddam and his doubles all sat down for a big poker game.
“Good news, guys! Saddam Hussein survived the bombing of his compund the other night. Bad news…he lost an arm!”
