Funniest story we got a tetherball for Christmas one year and my sisters were playing.Sister one is 6 years older than Sister two.Stategy? keep ball high enough that sister2 can’t reach it.My Dad has the 8mm.movie projector getting it all down.Sister 2 is screaming at the top of her lungs the whole time.Priceless memories

Shirley - Seems to me that tether ball sets began disappearing about the same time that vasectomies were becoming more prevalent. Perhaps cash strapped med schools were swiping tetherball equipment to use as training aids in the lab?

my aunt and uncle gave me a tetherball set one year for xmas . . never installed it . . mom wasnt known for pouring concrete. it was fun to play at school!
someone mentioned “dodgeball” . . wow; was that psychotic or what? line all the kids up in 2 groups and have them whip soccer balls at who they dont like . . while the teachers just hang and chat!
