whatever happened to that Heparin company?

In 2008 heparin was found to be adulterated by a Chinese supplier. It led to some unfortunate deaths and injuries. I haven’t heard much of the company SPL who imported the heparin. I’ve looked them up and there is some information, but does anyone know of the future of this company?

I would wonder about lawsuits and the impact on the company; it doesn’t look like they are greatly negatively impacted at least for now. I’m a bit surprised.

Does anyone know anything about what happened to the company in the ensuing years (legally) or what might happen in the future?

Who, Baxter? They made $1.4 billion last year. Not all from heparin, of course.

I was thinking of SPL, not Baxter. I think SPL brought the contaminated Heparin into the country and sold it to Baxter. I can find some details on the net, but I don’t see a lot on if there are any lawsuits or how that might affect the future viability of SPL.
