What's an Everswiss watch?

I recently got a box of pocket watches at a garage sale, one of which I’ve never heard of before. Good looking thing, full-hunter style with hunting scenes on the front and back (I’ll get a picture up eventually if there are any responses).
On the face is some floral stuff and the words -

Ever Swiss
Shock resistant
17 Jewels
Swiss Made

Now, based on the number of Arabic language sites that come up when I Google this, I suspect it’s not in fact “Swiss Made” and wonder if this is a fake or just cheap.

I didn’t get ripped off, regardless of what it turns out to be, got a Colibri and Rapport with it, both of which are probably Chinese movements but I didn’t spend much for the three.

What is the question, you rightfully ask? Is “EverSwiss” a real company, is it in fact a Swiss made movement, is it worth the $30 I spent on it?*

  • I realize the last answer is, of course “it’s worth what someone will pay for it”

They sell mods at garage sales now?

Neat watch. Considering what that one went for (~40.00) I think you did well.

Your Everswiss is made by EVACO, and supposedly has a swiss movement. Question…is the face is labeled Swiss Made?

At any rate, you might want to look at this web site: http:www.evaco.ch/products.htm

Enjoy your watch!

Ah, thanks!
Face does say “Swiss Made”, and it’s nearly identical to the one sweepkick linked. Different scenes, a dog chasing a stag on the front is what caught my eye, but the face is nearly the same.

Looks like it’s about as valuable as I thought (not very), but I did have that little bit of hope that I’d found something special. Oh well, at least it’s a good looking case.

Whoa! Calm down everyone, here are the pictures you’re all asking for.
