What's An "Intelex Player"

I had a job interview today. As I was sitting outside of H/R filling in the application, I noticed it was right next to security. This is for a retail store.

Anywhere the security board had photos of known “theives and shoplifters” as they were coming in and out of the door. And they’d be labled as “Shoplifter,” “Con-Artist,” “Tag Switch” and quite a few were labled “Intelex Player”

I think that is how they spelled it Intellex, though I’m not 100% sure of the spelling.

Anyway I was wondering what an Intelex player is?

Based on reading this, I assume “Intellex Player” is the default caption for surveillance video footage.

Intellex is a brand name security DVR system by American Dynamics. It’s a quality product that the company I work for uses.
