Was George Carlin on television recently? Usually we have some newbee come up with these when he has just been on. It would be different if they were original, but to steal from Carlin shows no creativity at all.

Steven Wright, not George Carlin. Most of the “questions only idiots ask” list are either cribbed from Wright or Gallagher. The pure word trick ones are usually Gallagher (how come we call them apartments when they’re all stuck together?). This kind of odd perception of internal inconsistency is the hallmark of Steven Wright.
