I took the OP to mean stuff WE (over 30s) think is cool, regardless of what anyone else thinks. That has been one of the very liberating things for me the past few years…not caring anymore about what anyone else thought was a cool car, cool TV show, or cool music. If I think something is cool, that’s good enough for me. I’m closer to 40 than 30 myself.
Friends. Actually losing weight. Smoking a guy ten years younger then you in a bike race. Owning your car free and clear. Having fun hobbies to look forward to, and time to do them.
Crown molding. A bitchen Riding Mower (I want to have flames painted on mine when I get it). A four day holiday weekend.
To echo MeanJoe, HGTV is way cool.
And so are those new Toyota minivans.
And my compound miter saw.
And playing Madden against my son and sometimes winning.
And personal finance software.
Or maybe I just need to get out more…
