What's in the 100 year old Norwegian mystery package? It's being opened tomorrow 8/24.

Two more luminaries will now speak, and then we will have some traditional Scottish music.

Was that thing about being a Sinclair a joke?

Edit: Nevermind, googled it up.

Yeah, they are making way too much of this. It’s going to end up being someones notes for a compelling coming of age story on the Fjords.

Ok, I’m not watching anymore.

The guy speaking now looks a little fishy … I think I know what’s in the package and

OPEN THE PACKAGE Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn!

It’s a gong show commemorating some ancient battle or something.

Who can I sue?

I have a lunch to go to at 4:30 GMT so I’m betting I’ll not see the unveiling. Drat!

I feel they could have made better use of the hundred years they had to prepare for the opening of the package.

I followed that link, but I’m getting a violin and guitar folk duo. They are pretty good though, were they inside?

At least the music is bitchin’

It was a really big box.

They’re one of the opening acts apparently. (ba dum bum!)

The package will contain a smaller package that says OPEN IN 2112.

Bigger on the inside, at any rate. Like the Tardis.

Oh I see. The package was just a publicity stunt for the new TV show Norway 's Got Talent.

They’re having a cultural show and speakers and stuff before the opening.

LOL about the ‘really big box’. :stuck_out_tongue:

“It’s with great anticipation…that I introduce another act!”

I can’t find anything. Can you share/explain? I heard it too but have no idea what it was referencing.

Seriously? Interpretive dance?

This just keeps getting better.

Next up, a traditional Norwegian dance, followed by an hour-long slide presentation titled ‘The Development of Oat Harvesting Methods in Svalbard 1890-1905’.
