What's new in Vegas these days?

I’m getting ready to book a three-night stay in Vegas this coming August. I’ve been quite a few times, but it’s been awhile - aside from a two-night stay in 2022 where I didn’t get to do much touristy stuff, my last stay was in 2015.

Considering how much Vegas is a city in constant flux, I’m sure there must be all kinds of new attractions that have opened in the last decade, places to eat, and so forth. I won’t be renting a car, so I’ll probably be sticking to the Strip and Fremont unless there’s something off-Strip that’s really worth seeing. I know I plan on making it to Area 15 and getting at least one dinner at a nice steakhouse, and I’d like to take in a show, but my plans aside from that are up in the air.

So, those who’ve been more recently than I - what’s new there that’s worth checking out?

I understand the “Sphere” is a big new thing.

I’ve known several people who’ve gone to Vegas specifically to attend events held within it because it’s apparently super-cool for certain sorts of events.

I haven’t been to Omega Mart, but if it’s anything like Santa Fe’s Meow Wolf I’ll bet it’s worth a visit.

I work in a grocery store, so Omega Mart is definitely on my list.
