What's that, you say? What's growing in my garden?

We have a nice size kitchen garden. Thanks to Son-of-a-wrek. (He’s the heavy lifter.)
Greens, onions, peas, okra, tomatoes, cucumber, squash.

Son comes in yesterday and tells me there’s a volunteer growing out there.
What is it, you ask?

I got some hints, for you:

  1. Not green or leafy.
  2. Legal, I think🤔.
  3. Edible.
  4. Taste very good, I’m told.
  5. The very last thing I’d think of growing in my garden.

Can you guess?
Just you try.

Mushroom?

Nope

:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Cilantro?

No, again.

:eggplant: :eggplant: :eggplant: :eggplant: :eggplant:

Wow! But no

Baby rabbit.

Half of a squirrel.
You do own meezers, right?

Nope and Nope.

(My Siamese don’t go outside)

New hint:

It does not have fur.

Hemp seed.

That would be green and leafy.

Half a naked mole-rat.

That’s just a shaved regular rat. ½ of one.

Clue: heavy for it’s size.

:jack_o_lantern: minus the face

Pomegranate tree?

Podperson pod with a pod…er, bigfoot inside

A lead carrot ?
A WW1 hand grenade ?

A prickly pear cactus?
A sunflower?
Jerusalem artichoke?
