I Renee Zellweger is very cute, and I loved her in “Nurse Betty”
FTR, most of you are impugning acting abilities based on roles, not the actress herself. For example, Julia Roberts was utterly fantastic and believable in Mystic Pizza. Helen Hunt had some wonderful early roles, etc. Most of them have simply gone the popular route, and those roles don’t let you show your chops.
Anyway, back to the OP:
This has to be one of the most pathetic things I’ve read on these boards, and that’s saying a lot. To paraphrase: “America!! What is wrong with your values? You all seem to like a woman who isn’t gorgeous. You all ought to be ashamed of yourselves!”

I kinda of wish I could see the Beauty of Julia, but I just can’t. There is only one thing I can see when I look at Julia Roberts… Eric Roberts. She has those same creepy eyes, that same enormous mouth stuck strangely between those gaunt cheeks. Tha same weasely lookign nose. SHe doesn’t have the pocked skin of her brother, but then agian he is made-up to highly it, and she is made-up to hide it, so. You can have all of your Julia fantasies you want, But the quickest way to turn me off is to make me think if Eric Roberts.
I think and have always thought that Eric Roberts is completely yummy. Since his accident, he’s a little rougher looking, but still gorgeous.
And they certainly do look like siblings…she’s the light version, he’s the dark. And it’s sad that they are estranged.
I know there is a segment of the population that doesn’t “get” Julia, and I sort of understand why. But if I could choose somebody to look like, it would be her in a heartbeat.
