Just be advised that Neptune Society is now owned and operated by Service Corp International, the largest funeral conglomerate in the USA which is not known for low costs in any case. Not saying anything bad about it, just that it may not be the least costly option since in Los Angeles it certainly is not.

The least costly disposition would be to donate your body to medical science. They will cremate and inter the remains once they are done and at no cost to the family. Your options for personalization, understandably, will be gone however.
