How about The Brown Bunny? That oral sex scene was as explicit as any porn.
Though I admit I haven’t seen the rest of the movie, but Chloe Sevigny claims it wasn’t a pornographic movie…

That shocked you? hon…
It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but what explicit sex scene in American Beauty are you talking about?
simulated (I hope) chicken plucking & unsimulated Tranny “Mom” on “Son” fellatio on what appeared to be a poo-stained penis?
Damn shocking, I would say!
Romance X - art movie, that features pornstar Rocco, and a money shot. Yet isn’t porn.
Then there’s Baise-moi , which again skirts the line.
Those are the two that immediately came to mind.
The Tina Turner scene gave me nightmares as a kid. Seriously.
hope again.
A History of Violence wasn’t exactly shocking, but it was fairly…unexpected.
Y tu mamá también is, again, not shocking, but shows more than you’d think.
Desperado has rather more naked Hayek and Banderas than one might expect, but it’s not shocking.
IMO Don’t Look Now has the best sex scene of any movie. I know I’m not alone in thinking that.
If I hadn’t heard terrible things about it, I’d go and see 9 Songs, and that would probably count as explicit sex scenes, but not porn.
sexy:
The Pillow Book (body painting! naked Ewan!)
Sebastiane
shocking:
Jerry McGuire (Tom Cruise with girlfriend#1)
Kids
The dirties movie I ever saw was a French art house film called **Le Cochon Est Tombé Dans la Boue. **
I only saw it in fragments. What was dirty about it? Because um, I might need to see that again.
Body Heat
Body Double
200 Motels
And that’s all I can think of off the top
Oh, yeah.
I saw this last year while I was in India. Did you know that HBO in India has commercials interupting the movies? Bugged the hell out of me.
As I mentioned in our earklier thread about Surprise! sex scenes, the one in Dona Flor and her Two Husbands took me by surprise. Pretty graphic and “out there”.
the scene that felt dirtiest was a fully clothed one from the 1960s – the Eating Scene in Tom Jones. Watch it and you’ll se what I mean.
Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down was fairly graphic
Subtitled, but I think still mainstream.
The child in that film did not want to be molested in any way. Actually he is horrified of what his father has done to his friends. Don’t forget the father doesn’t want to touch his son either. The scene in which Dylan Baker admits to his son about his urges is one of the best scenes I’ve ever witnessed in film.

Speaking of “feel dirty” sex, I have always been partial to the sex scene in “Quadrophenia” where the pair of lovers are making it in an enclosed alleyway while the Mods and Rockers are violently bashing on each other and the buildings all around them in full riot mode…the scene contains no real nudity, but is visually and acoustically graphic when juxtaposed against cutaway shots to the violence going on in the streets all around them. It was erotic in the extreme to view the tender violence of passionate sex taking place in such secrecy (yet publicly!) while the more overt violence rages on around them.
Or maybe that’s just me…

Well… no, I don’t think the son wanted to be molested. Chiefly because he didn’t really understand what that means. This being the main reason sex with children is always molestation. But he’s so desperate for his father’s attention he’s upset he didn’t get the “attention” his father gave to someone else.
