Besides, she didn’t have a clot at the time; the blood clot is only ‘reported’; and its being due to the concussion is only being ‘reported’.

In other words anything can be reported.

Still, she has been out of sight for over a week and no one but her intimates know where she’s been or what her condition is. I would think however that had her illness and concussion been severe enough to keep her at home all this time, I would have thought hospitalization would have been called for long before now.

Maybe she’s genuinely ill, maybe not. But only a fool would take anything either of the Clintons say or do at face value. As much as I detest those two, I wish her no ill. And should it turn out that she has truly been ill and in the way described, I’ll feel badly for her. But I won’t for a second feel foolish for questioning it.

Well, Hillary acquitted herself pretty well at the inquisition today, despite McCain’s self-serving anti-Obama braying. I wish he’d realize that he has nothing to say that anybody wants to hear.

Mr. McCain asserted that the Obama administration’s aversion to nation-building precluded it from adequately helping Libya organize and train its own forces. Specifically, Mr. McCain said that the administration failed to provide the kind of training, equipment and other assistance that would help the fledgling civilian government in Tripoli confront the growing menace from militias in Benghazi and other parts of Libya.

He said there were a number of obvious warning signs before the September attack in Benghazi, including an attack on the British ambassador’s convoy in that city in June.

“Well, Senator, I understand your very strong feelings,” Mrs. Clinton responded, adding, “And we just have a disagreement.”

So an “aversion to nation building” is a negative thing for this old fuck, and we should continue to pump millions of dollars worth of weapons and troops into this cesspool.

She also shoved things up Ron Johnson’s ass, which I hope he finds titillating.

In a rare moment of confrontation, Mrs. Clinton responded to persistent questions from Senator Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, by saying that there was too much focus on how the Benghazi attack was characterized in its early hours and not enough on how to prevent a recurrence.

“What difference at this point does it make?” she said, raising her voice and noting that there were “four dead Americans.”

“It is our job to figure out what happened and to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” she snapped.

Not getting it, here. What level of security would be adequate to neutralize determined enemies with automatic weapons and grenade launchers? Diplomats risk their lives for their country, just as soldiers do. They just don’t have the option of shooting back.

If you mean “for their country” you mean “to advance the goals of the state and the monied interest it represents” you might be right.

Perhaps in theory there is an alternate universe where Rand Paul would be the superior of Hillary, but it is never going to happen in this world. She did exactly right by ignoring the little twat. The whole purpose of this little star chamber was to try to set the stage to discredit Clinton if she runs in 2016. Instead, she shoved the whole non-funding issue up their asses without making it sound like whining. McCain intoning that her answers were “unsatisfactory” surprised nobody ever.
