Well, last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away.
Still the Wii (I’m venturing out for the first time EVER on Black Friday to try to get one), and also Rock Band, for the young at heart. I can’t imagine the little ones being into it, though.
Personally, I prefer the Ninky Nonk
Are people actually scared about that? I honestly have not given it a moment’s thought, and I have a little kid.
Who out there is actually scared off buying toys?
I’m not scared off of buying toys, but I am watching what I am buying (mostly toys from Germany, books, and some handmade ones from me…)
Huh. I loved that show when I was 2, and that was almost 20 years ago! The more things change, the more they stay the same, I guess.
No kids myself, but buying gifts for a lot of friends & family. I’m very attentive to avoiding “Made in China”.
Obviously nobody in any position of authority is taking any responsibility here, so it’s on us, as I see it.
I think certain branches of entertainment are hoping that HD will be the buzzword for gifts this year. HD-DVD (Blu-Ray), HDTV, etc.
But I actually suspect that they actually won’t sell as well as they’re anticipating, and one of the battles in this so-called format war may be decided.
Seems like GPS’s are the IT present for adults. They are on sale everywhere and everyone I talk to seem to want one.
The Wii’s only been released here this month, so I’m sure that’ll be it this year.
Oh, and those micro-RC helicopters seem to be all the rage.
For us it’s a PS3. We’re foregoing all other presents to spend way too much money on a console.
But, it’s a console AND a DVD player. So it’s okay.

What about Tickle Me Emo? I hear he’s on the cutting edge of new gifts.[/QUOTE]
Shouldn’t that be Cut Me Emo? I hear he comes with black eyeliner and a little plastic razor.
