 I think the Seventh Seal is very funny. What’s funnier than death (or Death)?
The first movie that comes to mind is The Cheap Detective. Maybe I was too young to appreciate it, but I thought it was the most un-funny comedy I’d ever seen. The only gag I liked was that ‘people were shot so fast they didn’t have time to fall down’.
Every Police Academy movie since the first one. I think Police Academy Moscow actually held a record for lowest gross of movies released in more than X number of theaters (it grossed just over $100K).
Hey, it’s got Debi Mazar in chains. So it can do no wrong.
Try to stay away from “Very Bad Things” then.

I never thought The In-laws had anything going for it, in the original or the remake. I understand they’ve recently done a remake of “Fun With Dick and Jane.” The original was so bad, here’s what Pauline Kael had to say about it (paraphrasing, but I’m pretty close to being exact, so I’ll use quotes):
The miniseries “Roots” demonstrates that television may one day entirely displace the movies as an entertainment medium. “Fun With Dick and Jane” makes that sound like a good idea."
Raising Arizona.
I disagree.
This is not unexpected.
I just find the movie abominably tedious. I love every other Coen Bros. movie that I’ve seen - but Raising Arizona just makes me want to use a cheese grater on my eyeballs.
So it’s is my pick for least funny comedy. Less funny than Master of Disguise. Less funny than Leonard, Part Six. Less funny than Club Dread. Less funny than Freddy Got Fingered. I’d gladly watch any of the four again in preference to Raising Arizona.
I’d have to say the only line I laughed at in Mars Attacks was at the end when the long-haired kid told everybody that they should live in teepees because it’s better for the environment.

Mmmmm… Grated eyeballs…

I will second that. I love dark comedies, but they forgot to add the comedy part. Good to see that little asian porn chick though.
I’ll defend both Raising Arizona and O Brother Where Art Thou? Those are two of my all-time favorite movie comedies. {Insert snotty “You just don’t get it” rant here}
I thought the first Austin Powers had it’s moments, though they were pretty sparse:
Henchman: It’s ready, Mr. Evil.
Dr. Evil: That’s Dr. Evil! I didn’t spend 3 years in evil medical school to be called Mr. Evil!
The second flick though was utterly laugh free. Mike Myers and Verne Troyer staring at each other for six minutes at a time is just not funny.
KOBE TAI! I probably yelled her name when I (unfortunately) saw it in the theater.
I completely agree–in fact, this is the very movie I came in to post!
What no votes for Caddyshack II?
P.S.- I loved Raising Arizona.
You want blasphemy? I prefer Caddyshack II to the first one.
I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Baseketball yet.
Old School was terrible.
