Out of all the message boards currently on the web, are there any massive, monster sized threads of particular notoriety? I think I’ve seen a couple of 10,000+ ones, but surely there would be some which are bigger.
The [Big Big Biggest Topic](.dgemu.com / forums / index.php ?showtopic=48138) at dgemu is over 50 000 replies long… but I’m sure there are longer ones.
I bet usenet has the longest threads out there.

The Pittsburgh Pirates message board has a thread currently at 62,976 replies.
Maybe check your own setup - no problems here.
I’m using Mozilla in FreeBSD and it still tried to download an installer.exe file. It was solved by simply clicking cancel.

I’m using FireFox in Debian Linux and I got the installer. I also pressed cancel.
Yeah, I got an installer too but I figured that if it wasn’t hurting me it wouldn’t hurt anyone else. Guess I forgot that some people might be using different browsers/might click OK. Whoops
