Made 35K last year, should do a little better this year. Would be plenty to live well on, were it not for a financially disasterous youth.
I’m making $15k a year, Australian. That’s about $8.5k a year US.
This is what’s known as minimum wage.

All you ‘low paid $35k a year’ wankers can kiss my butt.
The money in the pipelining industry can be really obscene.
When I was working as an independent contractor, doing exactly what I’m doing now (and for the same company), I was making $650 Canadian per day. Of that, $100 was tax-free (living allowance). The other $550 was taxed at somewhere around 50% (I think it was 48%).
That job lasted 10 months straight, before the gravy train derailed.
The funny thing is, I wasn’t even the highest paid guy out there. The welders were pulling in considerably more.
I made a bit over 10 thousand for the show I was in for about three months. With how much time and energy went into that I’m glad I only do a show or two a year.
The most I’ve made in a year was 68k, but I’m only 39.
The most I made in a single day was $3000 on a game show.
But my wife…one time she bought 12 Beanie Babies for $5 each. Kept them on our bedroom dresser for 8 months. Ugh! I hated them. Then one day she took them to some collectors store where they gave he $4200!!
Can you believe it? They must be nuts! When she came home with that check I almost fainted! (the check was good, too!:))
Well, at one time?
One night when I was dancing, I made $90 in an hour. Yes, just dancing, nothing else. The guy must’ve liked me, and he kept giving me ones, then I turned them in and found it was $90.
I got $250 this past summer to give a two-hour lecture on the musculoskeletal system.

I made $100 one day when I painted pumpkins for some lady. $1 a pumpkin. I wouldn’t mind getting some more money, but that was when I was 14. I still haven’t broke that $100 bill.
