What's the most recent movie you've watched that's older than you are?

Not sure if you’re joking or not, but Kung Fury is actually from 2015.

…It unironically uses David Hasselhoff music, there’s no way that this is from any point since the Mauerfall.

( )

I recently tried to watch The Naked Spur which came out the year I was born. The transfer quality was abysmal so I didn’t make it through.

The most recent movie I’ve watched that’s older me
Would be " The Great Escape" July 1963
The movie that’s older than me that I’ve recently watched is " Mister Smith Goes to Washington" 1939

The Bridge on the River Kwai.

Watched 1951’s The Desert Fox with James Mason yesterday.

He hogged the popcorn.

Dolemite

The Band Wagon - mainly because Nanette Fabray did one of the musical numbers in an episode of One Day at a Time and I wanted to see how the original was staged.

Ben-Hur (the Charlton Heston version) was released about 5 months before I was.

A Man for all Seasons, 1966 Best Picture

My god, I cried buckets, watching that. It had a happy ending tacked on, I think, but it was so sad.

We are watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies from the public library. Fast-forwarding a little, sometimes, through the dopey exposition dialogue.

I watch Turner Classic Movies channel constantly, this is August and that means a star-a-day is featured. Watched Bus Stop, Some Like It Hot, and River of No Return yesterday! I haven’t watched any ‘new’ movies in some years, though I am looking forward to renting the recent Beauty and the Beast.

Scarlet Street, a noir from 1945 directed by Fritz Lang, starring Edward G. Robinson and Joan Bennett.
