Thank heavens. I was beginning to think I was the only one who knew the plural of Focus does not have an S, much less two of them. Yeah, yeah, proper noun and all that, but obviously taken from a well established word.
The 2V 4.6 lasts forever too. There’s Crown Vics that used to be cop cars or taxis that have well over 300,000 miles. The 4.9 I6 also runs forever. I’ve never been a fan of 4-cylinder engines in anything bigger than a motorcycle, so I don’t know much about what Ford offers. I want to say the 2.3 could last awhile and could also hold up to a turbo and put out good numbers when built right.
The proper plural of Ford Focus is Ford Focuses. For example, Ford Focuses roll off of the assembly line at a rate of 54 per hour. Cite: me (has to be good enough, as I can’t link to media references on the LAN).
