Well, that isnt* that *horrible, but how about those Mormon-like cults, where the women are treated like breeding machines, and indoctrinated that polygamy and marrying much younger girls and even daughters is perfectly normal and even required by God? Where The boys are kicked out of the compound so that the patriarchs can have more woment f=to sexuall domainate? Where the rest of the “wives” go on welfare so the Patriarch doesnt have to work?

At membership stores that can ban you, but afaik, they can’t do anything at Walmart.
I’m sure if you tried hard enough you could get permanently banned from the premises. Get creative!

Death by own hand aka suicide
This is another version of the “suicide is selfish” logic. It’s selfish for people to demand that a suicidal person remain alive in his/her agony so that they won’t have to deal with the pain of his/her departure. They’re essentially demanding, “**You **must remain alive for **my **sake, no matter how hard a time you’re having.”
Does this also apply to people who pursue medical aid in dying?
Actually, in many areas, suicide is not legal,and you get caught trying, they will sentence you to life.
As someone who’s been desperate enough to try, I heartily second. In playing the old Philosophy 101 game of “no such thing as an altruistic act,” I’d argue that *not *committing suicide disproved it. You’re living in misery, and if anyone notices, the best you’ll get is a “cheer up!”
And so people must keep suffering to spare others’ feelings?
