I’ve got an album cover stuck in my head.
As near as I can remember, it looks like a line-art Winamp vis. with a series of lines showing spectrum data, decaying back into the center of the image. Here’s my crappy rendition:

A similar image appears twice on this website. I don’t recognize it, but it looks like some sort of seismic image of a mountain range.
That’s IT! I must’ve imagined the horizontal compression as they scaled back.

I have an album with a similar cover: Joy Division, Unknown Pleasures. I don’t know if it’s on the website Krokodil mentioned, Krokodil’s link was loading too slow for me to see every picture.
