I forget the car maker, but the commercial shows different people (young couple, mom and cute baby, older guy) driving their cars and singing a very catchy song. It goes:
“I wish…I…knew…what I know now…when I was younger,
I wish…I…knew…what I know now…when I was stronger.”

Anyone? Title and artist?
Is it a “Top 40” current hit by a new artist?
(or whatever that type of music is called…I listen to mostly country and classical)

I’m pretty sure the artist who did the song originally is Rod Stewart. That doesn’t mean he did it for the commercial. Sorry, but I hear songs on the radio but am lost in the 60’s when it comes to music.

Actually, it’s for a Mitsubishi Galant if I remember correctly, but that really isn’t the question…

The only version of the song I’ve ever heard is the one done by Rod Stewart, but I couldn’t tell you what album it was on or anything.
