He seems to enjoy unrest and destruction in big cities, and seems to speak as tho he doesn’t care if the cities go up in flames. For some reason, that appeals to his boneheaded diehard supporters. he gets to criticize liberal elites and minorities, as tho they are they deserve to be harmed - and are the only ones harmed.
Of course, his view would change if any of his properties were threatened.
The man is so bereft of values and common sense that I can actally imagine that he would welcome a shooting war between militias and social justice activists. I think he may be that evil.
And I do not rule out the possibility of significant unrest should he lose…
We already know his plan for looting – divert government lodging and operations to Trump-owned businesses, arrange sweetheart contracts in exchange for donations…

Yeah, I don’t think there is not that much of a plan per se other than “I am telling you all with my GREAT leadership to make that stop. So make it stop. You have to because I told you with GREAT leadership. And it’s got to look like we beat those losers because we’re so strong and my leadership’s so great.” Depending on how badly things go he will flail about with different reactions including…
- more ocassional deployments of Fed Security and “contractors” to temporary hot spots (and an effort try to finally muscle in enough toadies and yes-men in the Defense leadership so that he gets to command use of Regulars whether legal or not);
- defunding the cities, counties or whole states where officials fail to do things his way, not even provide FEMA money to help civilian bystanders affected;
- doing the second but not the first and taking a “let the motherf****er burn” approach to violence in unfriendly cities and states as Dinsdale stated;
- make a statement that with so much opposition he really deserves TWO MORE whole terms of people being nice and respectful to him;
- say that people in communities where the violence continues should not get their SSA, SNAP, TANF or pension benefit checks until there is peace;
- twittering or saying on TV “the Second Amendment Patriot Good People, they know what they need to do to take back their cities”.
All of which he’ll self-contradict about by the afternoon of the day he said it but wink and nod to go ahead anyway if you can.
