Anyone know when the new season is supposed to start?
I’m guessing March. Wasn’t it March last year? I think they started filming in late July, early August.
Not soon enough. 
I read somewhere recently that the next episode of The Sopranos starts in March, so they’ll probably start Deadwood after that, maybe summer. But there’s a new series of The Wire (my favorite show) coming sometime soon, too. So Deadwood might not come until fall 2006. But I’m just speculating.
The HBO.com Deadwood page says “New Episodes Coming 2006”. But no further details. I’m guessing that means it’ll probably start after the Sopranos has its season, since they would probably have the promo cogs more in motion if it was early in 2006. Which means June or July at the earliest I suppose. The Wire will also run in '06 too.
Anyone know on what’s next in the 9pm Sunday night pipeline when Rome finishes its run?

According to this article in today’s Hollywood Reporter, the answer is “sometime next year”.
Summer 2006. Not sure the exact date though.
