Ads we all know, Bill Clinton did pardon many people…among them a Mr. Marc Rich, who had been a fugitive from justice(he is in Switzerland) formany years. I am not familiar with the nature of Mr. Rich’s crimes…but from what I read, they were considered to be quite serious.
Anyway, with this presidential pardon, is Rich free to return to the USA? Can he resume business here (trading in metalsoptions and futures)?
And, for those of you who have read the Clinton autobio: how does Clinton explain the Marc Rich pardon…does he mention why he did it?

Why is this political? I simply asked if Marc Rich (having been pardoned) has resumed operations. No judgement on Clinton or anybody else!
