Unfortunately, the government chosen by the military seems to be better than the one chosen by democratic process. Which is also a rather sad statement.
Yeah but I can bet that the MB assured a lot more social welfare to the average Egyptian than what’s on offer at the moment, even though I disagree with their platform.

Too many pyramid schemes?
Better at preserving the military’s privileges. Better at governing? That’s a wash at best. As I said, as long as the military controls so much of the economy, there will be no general prosperity, and as long as the military controls the government, there will be no reform. Other than change happening within the military, I don’t see any real hope.
