What's wrong with Kazaa

I use Kazaa but I have slowed down my usage of it in a big way because of the crackdown but I still download files from hard to find underground artists, mostly rappers.
That’s my only problem with Itunes…it’s fine if you *only * like the stuff they play on the radio but if you don’t then your screwed. Anyway since these are mostly independent artists I download from, I try to $upport them when I can find their stuff and I share it on Kazaa after I buy it.
What’s wrong with Kazaa? I have a pretty big circle of friends and if one of us buys a CD then we send the word out for nobody to buy it because they can get it burned if they want to…it’s sort of the same thing with Kazaa except nobody will ever take us to court over burning music for each other offline.
I have 15 new CD’s in my collection within the last 2 weeks and out of those I bought 2 of them the rest were burned for me by friends…so what is the difference between that and Kazaa? On Kazaa it is rare that you will get a whole CD, most people I know download one or two songs off an album and that’s it.

It’s called “stealing”, and we do not promote stealing on the SDMB.

Lockdown.
