I have an Aztek GP100 I got around 1992. I don’t use it much, but it’s always been problem free. Yesterday, all of a sudden, it is not siphoning paint from the jar. The airflow seems fine, I’ve taken apart the tip and it’s clean, I’ve tried other tips, but nothing. I tried screwing the tip on extra tight, but no dice. If I unscrew the jar, there is no suction from the straw attatched to the airbrush.
Nothing seems clogged, everything looks normal, but no paint!
I know next to nothing about air brushes but mine did the same thing.
Its a single action. I found that the height of the siphon tube was incorrect.
My first clue was when I covered up the end of the tube with my finger it would work after I removed my finger.
Slight up or down adjustment and it worked fine.
Are you by any chance using acryllics? I also found they can get snotty like strings in it and the paint won’t flow.
