What's your favorite cereal?

Grape-Nuts. Absolutely the best.

I also love Quaker Oatmeal Squares, eaten dry. I might have to go get some of that for a midnight snack tonight.

arrowhead mills makes maple buckwheat flakes

Cocoa Puffs with skim milk.
Frosted Cherrios dry.
Grape Nuts with a little bit of milk just to make them damp, microwaved, then covered with honey and sprinkled with sugar.

I’m also a fan of Honey Nut Chex but they’re addicting and I gorge whenever we have them in the house, then promptly get a stomachache.

Cheerios with the dried fruit.

Hemp Plus Granola. From Canada. Best cereal ever made!

Boring, here. Plain ol’ Wheat Chex.

Although, when I was 10 or so, I ate nothing but Cookie Crisp for a year.

Oatmeal…I’ll take it with a dab of butter and a spoonful of brown or maple sugar. Rasins are good, but I can live with out them.

If that is true, then you need to buy a case of Quisp, stat.

Oh, and my fav. is Lucky Charms, they’re magically delicious! I love “marsmallow” bits.

My God! It’s Jerry Garcia!

Whoaa, wrong thread, man.

Cap’n Crunch. I like a little masochism in the morning.

Pink Panther Flakes!

Sadly they stopped making it in the early 70’s.

Raisin Bran–especially Kellog’s.
BTW, I’m one of those rare weirdos who eat cereal without pouring milk–or anything else–on it.

I love love love me some Corn Flakes. They’re plain, but with 1% milk, it’s sooo good! But like flamingbananas, if it’s in the apartment, I’ll eat myself sick and then I’ll have to listen to the SO lecture me about eating too much. But it’s so good, you gotta get another bowl! Oh man Corn Flakes sound so good right now…

A WalMart near me had a 4-grain generic cereal that I love - but last time I went there, they didn’t have it. I am not happy about that.

Was it Basic 4? Great stuff, but I can’t find it lately either.

My all time favorite is Alpen. I like Kashi Go Lean and Cinnamon Life. I like oatmeal too, but I can’t stomach farina or wheatina or anything with that wall paper paste texture.

They now make a reduced sugar Frosted Flakes (as well as Froot Loops) that taste just as good as the regular varieties. They have Splenda, IIRC.

Anyone every eaten at a Cereality? We’ve got one near my campus. They’re basically this cafe that sells all different kinds of cereals with all kinds of available toppings (even weird ones like pop-rocks), in trendy little chinese take-out boxes. I’ve never ventured in because, although I love cereal, it’s pretty pricey. Plus my friend worked there and hated it, and his negative vibes about the place sort of transferred into me.

Still though, cashing in on such a universal comfort food is a pretty good idea.

Cracklin’ Oat Bran is my all time favorite…but you have to let it get soggy in the milk first before you eat it. Then it’s absolutely divine…like leaving an oatmeal cookie in milk until it’s falling apart.

Off to IMHO.

Total.

All the way.
