OMG, reading this made me remember my dream last night. In it, I was eating Captain Crunch, and noticing on the box that it was a “New, Improved and Safer” version, which obviously meant less roof-of-mouth scraping. It was, indeed, softer on the outside, and still crunchy on the inside. That’s all I remember.
