What's your favorite foreign language film?

The House of Flying Daggers is the best martial arts film ever made, imho. The colors, the cinematography and choreography are superb. Much better than Crouching Tiger, which is good but a bit overrated.

Europa, Europa is an amazing historical film. It’s the true story of Polish Jewish man who attempts to survive World War 2 by joining the SS.

*Bienvenue sur les Chtis * is an amusing fish-out-of-water comedy about a man from the south of France who is transferred to a small town in the north and his struggles with the local accent and culture.

The Godfather is in English, which is a foreign language for the majority of the world.

Hardee, har hah! I bet you didn’t notice this board was English centric----- nope. Didn’t notice that the board originated in Chicago. You had to make a joke. Didn’t you? Did you really think it funny?"

“Godfather!” “Godfather!”-----really an overrated film. No? Prove me wrong.

It assumes itself.

The 36th Chamber of Shaolin

Haven’t read the posts, so don’t know if this was mentioned

C’est arrivé près de chez vous…literally “It has Happened near your Home”

Called “Man Bites Dog” in english.

Sorta like (this is) Spinal Tap, only about a serial killer instead of rock stars
