What's your favorite place to shrink pictures on-line?

I just went to Pammipoo’s long-loading website.
http://bounce.to/Bubbleism =
http://www.angelfire.com/ga2/Bubbleism/

I have shrunk the current problem, the two pictures.
They were probably just put in big and sized by entering into an automatic formatter. That shrunk the image, but makes the whole thing load anyway. All 323,785 bytes, in one case, just to display a 159x180 image.

( Pammipoo - I shrunk them for you and left samples at my fathom website, where you can copy them onto your Angelfire site.)

When shrunk, they become this small:

http://fff.fathom.org/pages/annalamerino/glitterkeet.jpg - 8,272 bytes
http://fff.fathom.org/pages/annalamerino/Mojo_Jojo.jpg - 6,431 bytes

HOW can you do this shrinking from the web? I knew a place but it went to pay format. Anybody know a free one?

How about http://www.nbswebfx.com/

It does shrinking, but I’m not sure if that’s what you want.

Most of NetMechanic’s services cost, but GifBot is free, and is specifically designed to reduce image file size.

IMHO, the resulting images are not always useable. But it’s worth a try - YMMV, as they say…
