I made a pomegranate pie a couple of weeks ago for a dessert competition. I had no idea how I was going to do it, but it came out pretty well.
When you juice the seeds, you really want to cover them with something – they’re worse than grapefruits at seeking out your eye. And pomegranate juice that falls on anything will stain.
Make a glass of lemonade, or half-iced tea and hal-lemonade. Peel pomegranate over glass, put seeds in glass and drink. Then eat the seeds.
Oooh, toss in some stinky, salty bleu cheese crumbles and I’m sooo all over that!

I’ve only had pomegranate two or three times, but I thought you were supposed to just suck the juice off, and then spit the seeds out. I had no idea anyone ate the seeds.
