What's your favorites CHESS site?

Post a link if you have such a thing. I’ll post mine if there’s any response. :slight_smile:

This one is kind of fun if you’re not an International Grandmaster. The games shown have just the sort of mistakes that I would make.

BTW: Can you imagine - my spell checker had never heard of “Grandmaster”.

=====================

Here’s one I check often: http://en.chessbase.com/ for news and analysis of recent games at the top levels.

And for move by move analysis of whole games I like kingscrusher - YouTube

Thread relocated to the Game Room from IMHO.

I usually go to SparkChess: http://www.sparkchess.com/.

I have heard of other chess sites though.

If I want a quick game, I can use the Chess Titans program that came with Windows 7. :slight_smile:

By far my favourite, despite the fact it’s hardly ever updated any more, is Tim Krabbe’s Chess Curiosities - he writes well, and explores weird stuff that happens in chess, including a lot of theory and historical research.

Would that be this one: http://timkr.home.xs4all.nl/chess/chess.html

That’s it! Thanks for finding the link - I thought it was blocked for me at work, but actually it appears not. Shame he doesn’t update it so frequently any more.
