However, I say however where is work is another story. We have intramural hockey and their mascot is a penis and testicles and his name is Scrotie.

University: Purple Aces. Evansville’s a river town, and the mascot, Ace Purple, is a riverboat gambler.

High school: Warriors (since my time deemed insensitive to Native Americans and changed to Wildcats.)*

*On my high school campus, there are running springs. This being in dry L.A., it must be the case that the natives have been gathering on that spot for thousands of years, and this is where the mascot name came from. There was a shared culture among natives living on the Channel Islands and the coastal areas of what is now L.A. During my senior year, while I was taking an anthropology class, a 6000 year old grave was found, with a carved soapstone bowl. Pretty cool.
