I used to be OK with skiing in those temps. But I grew weary of attaching the hot water lines to my wet suit, and my feet freezing waiting for mizPullin to bring the boat back around, and… Oh wait a minute. You’re talking about something else.
Seriously, I prefer anywhere from 60-80 outside, and from 74 to 75 inside. We stopped winter water skiing back in our 50s. Not worth it anymore. For me there are no sports worth doing if snow or ice is involved. Anything below 60 is misery for this old southerner.
Inside I like it around 78 to 80, but my SO likes it cooler so we compromise at 75. Outside I’m fine with anything above 80. Humidity doesn’t bother me much as long as there is air movement to dry me off, but I live near the water so even if it’s in the upper 90s there’s (almost) always a bay breeze to make it comfortable.
The climate where? If in the midwest the expression is, “Don’t like the weather? Wait fifteen minutes.” In San Francisco it is more like, “Walk two blocks.” Portola and North Beach might as well be in different counties. Same story on a larger scale throughout the Bay Area.
Here in Arizona, 78 - 82 for indoor temps. Most public places keep it more like 70 - 74 which means I carry a jacket, which looks odd to some.
