You can probably add Brits to that, as I’m pretty sure it’s common for us to grab something to read if we are heading for the toilet.
I hate shoes. Kick 'em off anywhere and everywhere. Even at work.
I hate coats. It has to be very very cold, or I have to be outside a long time for me to wear one. Mostly though, I just go with a shirt to work. It makes my boss nuts, as he is always chilly.
Back in school days one of the girls we hung out with found a way to use the word idiosyncrasy almost every blasted day. Sometimes she’d work it a couple times a day.
I hate that blasted word! This thread is killing me.
I wear four watches and a red t-shirt. Always.
There are many others (e.g. compliments confuse me) but that is the most obvious and I have so many.
Aaah yeah. The main guy I know who does this is a Pom, come to think of it.
A few random idiosyncrasies about me:
I always wear a red shirt on Friday (yes, I am wearing one right now).
My Satuday is not completed without an iced mocha from the local coffee bar.
I cannot sleep in dead silence. I must run a fan to provide some white noise.
I always fill my gas tank so that the amount paid ends in a 0 or a 5.
When I am in a restaurant I like to sit so that I can see the entrance/exit.
I also become anxious if I do not know what the time is or can quickly find out.
I always say “zero” when I recite a number, especially a phone number. “O” is a letter of the alphabet and is thus used differently.
I always have my Windows folders set to show file extensions and details. Most often I like to see more than just the names of the files. Also, selecting blocks of multiple files when using large icons doesn’t work the way I would expect it to work. I always have the full path in the title bars.
Any time where I have to sort something by color I always follow the order of the colors in the rainboe (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).
I’ve got some other oddities I could list, but my break is over and I need to get back to work.
