First of all, anyone see what the bonus round puzzle was for tonight (6/25)? Secondly, has anyone ever won the $100,000? I mean, it’s a pretty large bonus wheel (there’s, what, like 30+ cards on it?), and I’m sure there’s only one $100K card. The closest I’ve ever seen is someone failing to win the $50,000, the next level down. Lastly, is it reruns, or are some bonus puzzles (like “I GOOFED” and “BANJO PLAYER”) being repeated?

Anyway, as for my other topic, I absolutely must share one of the most impressive moments I’ve ever seen. The regular game is a little dull, IMO, but I always try to catch the bonus round. During College Week, a young student won a car (maybe two?), with the following puzzle. I dare you to try to figure it out within ten seconds like she did. I can safely guess that not more than 5% of us could have won that car with this four-word phrase…

(BTW, when I was trying to write out the puzzle, for some reason, on preview, it refused to acknowledge multiple spaces in between symbols, instead collapsing it down to one, making the individual words almost unreadable; the asterisks were the best I could do. Any way I could avoid that?)

HTML doesn’t allow multiple spaces. They’re collapsed into a single space, presumably to prevent barbarities like double spaces between sentences. If you want an extra space, use a non-breaking space instead; it’s an HTML escape sequence.   is the code for it, but it doesn’t appear that the forums allow HTML entities, so for here, you’re out of luck.
