My guess might get lost in this post, so I’ll post it after this submission goes through. Hopefully, you’ll still be here. If not, no worries.
I’ve been playing this game on three separate message boards. (stole it off one of them to introduce to two more) People at MB #1 and MB #2 have been playing pretty much by the book. (one guess at a time, no multiple guesses until a partial solution is posted, etc.)
At MB #3, there have been certain people who think they know what the first and last name of the quotee is. That’s all very well and good, but then they ask for multiple letters in one post. To me, that’s not quite how the game should be played. If they want to speed up the game, that’s fine… but have you ever heard of people guessing multiple letters in one turn (or guessing multiple letters before a partial solution is given) whilst playing Wheel of Fortune or Hangman? I didn’t think so.
I don’t believe that these people have to be told this. So I posted a polite amplification of the rules there, while only allowing their first guesses to go through and be posted as part of the solution. That’s fair to everyone.
I think I need some bubble tea, but it’s raining out… and I don’t really feel like eating or drinking anything much, either. So I’ll just play around on other boards and read stuff to distract myself.
I see it’s time for an amplification of the rules, though everyone here has been playing by them. This is just a pre-emptory sort of thing.
You’re only allowed to guess ONE letter at a time! If you want to guess multiple letters, you will have to put those guesses in after I post a partial solution.
The way this is supposed to go is that someone will post a quote. People will post their guesses one letter at a time, and nobody should post more than one guess before a partial solution is posted.
I should add that it doesn’t have to be a quote that you post up. It can be an event, a phrase, a name, a famous saying, a book / movie title… you get the idea from watching Wheel of Fortune.

Hmm… no idea how it did that. It said a connection to the server couldn’t be established, so I assumed it didn’t go through the first time.
Anyhow, here’s my guess: C.

Sorry, Flam, C has already been picked! (Don’t forget to check that used letter board! )

Can I guess without having guessed any letters?

And we have a winner! You are correct, Lily.
Woo-hoo!
Ok, how about a well-known quote from a song and the artist?

Can you redo it so that there are spaces between the dashes? It makes it easier to read… thanks!
Oh, and I pick T.

Eep…forgot an “N” in the last position of the two letter word!
