Just to fan the fires a bit, I’m currently reading the prequel he just came out with - A New Spring. Gotta love how instead of working on finishing this thing, he went back to expand a short story into a full novel that doesn’t really have anything to do with the main story.
Although, it’s worth reading if you’re curious about the test an Accepted has to pass to become Aes Sedai…
Didn’t they cover the tests an Accepted goes through to become full Aes Sedai in one of the other books? I thought I remembered them going through the rings and how dangerous it was and blah blah, past, present, future, etc, etc, yellow dresses with frills up and down the sleeves, tug braid, be stony faced… where was I?
That was the test for a novice to become Accepted. TOTALLY different. 
Although, now that you mention it, the Accepted → AS test is also rather clothing-intensive…
